LOVE LOVE LOVE this next DIY idea!! We spotted this fun little idea on a favorite wedding blog and we just had to share! Inspired by the ones from elizabethannedesigns.com, create your very own Flower Flags! These cute flags are the perfect addition to your escort or place card table! You can even create them for fun favours or a sweet signature drink! Craspedia flowers are perfect for this project. You can create the mini flags on your computer and print them off right at home. Or you can choose stylish coloured paper in your wedding colours and hand-write each guest name. Cut the flags out of the paper in simple triangle patterns or look for one that suites the style of flag you prefer. With a ruler, cut a slit into each flag and slide the stem of the craspedia flower through the slit. There you have flower flags! Think of different ways to stand the flags upward so they sit nice and tall as escort cards. Or place each one at each of your reception table settings for a fun and creative place card! You can even line a few boxes or wooden crates together, fill with foam and moss and voila! A gorgeous escort card display your guests will love as much as we do! You can even cluster them together in mason jars! And if you really love this project, create fun swizzle sticks in the same fashion. Perfect for signature drinks! Another way to create them is by attaching the flag to a wooden dowel or straw and gluing a yellow or green mum to the flag. Cluster them together and place by the bar or have them added to the drink itself. Creative swizzle sticks are a great idea for dressing up signature drinks at bridal showers or weddings! Guests will love this extra special detail! Follow the link below to see the step by step tutorial on how to create these fun little flags!
