I knew I wanted to have a Wedding Day Coordinator because I am the type of person to get very stressed if things are not going as planned. Because of our day-of-planner from Madeline'sI enjoyed my entire day and did not stress at all. Our wedding planners made sure everything was taken care of from delivering flowers, dealing with the hotel reception manager, my slideshow, food, to making sure my grandfather who came in from a nursing home was OK and so much more!! Our planners were absolutely wonderful!! I didn't have to worry about a thing which is exactly what I wanted :) I knew that if I didn't have them I would be stressing and tense throughout the day. Because of them I was a calm, relaxed bride the entire day! Madeline's Weddings was there for every task. I literally did not have to worry about a thing. My entire family and wedding party were really grateful to have them there!

I met with Alison a year and a half prior to our wedding date (I was a little bit of keener). Even though it was still some time away, Alison showed so much enthusiasm and excitement for my ideas! I immediately became very confident that Alison and I would work well together.
The concept for my wedding reception was quite different, but Alison had no problem envisioning it. I decided to incorporate a sweetheart table rather than the traditional head table. I wanted to ensure that the sweetheart table was romantic and stood apart from all the other tables at the wedding. I gave Alison a picture of what I was looking for and she created an even better look! When I walked into the room I was blown away. Alison literally made the room glow! The backdrop she created was everything I imagined. Guests were also taken aback at how incredible the room looked! I can’t thank both Madeline and Alison enough for making my concept come true! I had so many obstacles to overcome for the big day and Madeline’s Weddings just put my mind at ease. When I walked into my banquet room, tears started flowing at how beautiful my room turned out and that made my special day soo much more special. The wedding day was great. The room was beautiful! I walked into the St. Charles Golf & Country Club at 5:00pm and it was everything I’d imagined it would be and even better. We are members at St. Charles and spend a lot of time there golfing but that night it felt like we were having the party of our lives in our own home. The General Manager of St. Charles commented the next day to us that it was most elegant wedding they have seen at the club and from him that’s a huge compliment. The purple and green was the perfect choice to compliment the room especially the hints of the dark purple it looked very elegant. And the cake, candy table and signing table looked great. I have gotten a lot of compliments from many people. And now Blair finally understands that the basic St. Charles white table cloths maybe weren’t the way to go after all!

The wedding was amazing! There were a few hiccups along the way but thank god our coordinators were there to take care of everything! I am not sure where where we would be without them. They were so organized and friendly. Even our parents said they did an amazing job. My sister said to me "wow, I am going to get a wedding coordinator when I get married - they helped you so much. I always thought they never really did anything".
The wedding coordinators were amazing at the rehearsal. They helped us figure out what order we should go in, how fast to walk, etc. Our priest was even bouncing ideas off of them....we couldn't have asked for more. I guess they had noticed that I looked a little nervous at the rehearsal so they made sure to give me a few words of encouragement on the big day before I walked down the aisle. Such a sweet gesture and it really helped.
When we finally got to the Hilton after all of the pictures, the first thing I wanted to do was go see the ballroom. I had been waiting so long to see how everything would be pulled together. I opened the ballroom doors and I was truly amazed! Everything looked so beautiful. From the linens and chair covers, upgraded decor on the head table....it all looked amazing. Everything looked great and the room looked amazing.
I was so sad when our coordinators came and told me that the time had come for them to leave. It was such a wonderful experience working with them so I made sure that I gave them both a bid hug before they left. You really have great employees working for you. I will never forget all that your team has done for us and how they helped us make our wedding day the best day of our lives. Please let Alison, Dale and Ericka know that we really appreciate everything they did in helping make our wedding day a dream come true.
And to you Madeline, THANK YOU! Without you, your advice and help and your company our wedding day would not have turned out as well as it did. We are truly greatful!
Well, I think its about time I end this novel so I will send you some pictures when we get some from our photographer.

All I said was, 'We want something different...
Chris and I knew what we didn't want. Despite all of the influences from working in the Bridal Industry myself, we knew we didn't want a tradition-drenched, overly formal wedding, stark white with pink and sparkles, (no offence to the pink, sparkly girls out there, it's just not my thing) I sat down with Alison in her office for a consultation. It was like she just knew what I was going for! We spoke a number of times after our consultation, and what I enjoyed, and appreciated the most is that they go with what YOU like, and they don't try and cram suggestions down your throat. Alison and Madeline's team made everything hassle-free, everytime I had a new idea, I would call them, and they would have something that jived with it that was realistic.
I really surprised myself throughout my wedding day-- I thought I'd be a crying mess all day long, but I kept it together... even through the ceremony (for the most part)! But when I walked into the room at Fort Whyte Alive I cried... ... The room was perfect! Simple, elegant, with just enough funk... Exactly how I imagined it! Alison was even there to aide in the set up to make sure everything was right on!
I want the world to know what wonderful people Madeline, Alison and all of the staff at Madeline's Weddings are; It doesn't matter which of their services you require, they go above and beyond every time! 1000 Thank you's!

Hi Madeline and Everyone at Madeline's Weddings!
I don't even know where to start with what I thought on my wedding day. Everything was so, so beautiful! So perfect! My mom and I actually had a little sneak peek at things early Friday afternoon. Though it was nothing like seeing it all done up on the wedding day. The day itself was amazing. Bizarre & surreal. Fast paced and agonizingly slow. Exciting and hilarious. Loving and lovely.
The ceremony. How to describe seeing the room full of people looking back at me, Shawn standing in the distance. There are no words. We had a musician, playing acoustic guitar up at the front and it was so perfect. The ivory of the chair covers and the backdrop together with the music and the room itself all went together so perfectly.
Then, the reception. Oh. My. God. By the time I got to see it all done up it was filled with people and the murmur of their voices. Just walking into the room was absolutely breathtaking. I remember walking in and everything had this glow and a reflection of a glow from all the candles and all the lights and all the glass. The colors looked so unbelievably gorgeous all together. The head table was beautiful. The cupcake table was amazing. Everything was really just absolutely perfect (I need a thesaurus).
I have to say that truthfully, it was all beyond anything I could ever have imagined. I had an idea of what it would be but I didn't even come close. It honestly felt like walking into a dream. The hum of the room combined with the glow of the candles and the richness of the colors and the elegance of the fabrics. To be in that room surrounded by so much beauty was beyond a dream come true. It was a fantastic reality to be in and at the center of for a day. The room completely matched our mood, as it was both joyous and romantic. I know that those feelings would never have come through nearly as wonderfully and beautifully without you and everyone that helped out from Madeline's Weddings.
We send to you our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for your huge contribution to making our wedding day the fantastic day that it was. You all did a wonderful, wonderful job. Fantabulous!
It all came together so wonderfully, knowing that the room would be beautiful as a result of all your hard work put such an ease to my mind while planning everything else. I truly, truly thank you for helping me create a day that I hope everyone that was there remembers.

Thanks you for making our wedding run so smoothly and look so beautiful! I had so many guests tell me how amazing it looked in there before I was able to see it for myself, made me all that more anxious to get in there and check it out, even the girl at the front desk. :) You guys really made it look like a fairy tale in there, and all the extra touches... :) <3 They were right - what a stunning room!! All those little unexpected touches were so over and above anything I had expected. The staggered candles, the floating white roses. It blew us away!

Meeting with Alison from Madeline's Wedding for a FREE consultation was one of the best decisions we made in preparation for our wedding. She helped us in realizing our vision for our very special day. She was full of wonderful ideas and was very accommodating to our schedule, questions and requests. We booked most of our decorations from Madeline's as they have very competitive prices and their selection is amazing. They even went the extra mile in helping us to find a florist, baker and others that we needed that where in our price range. In the end, we even booked Alison as our wedding coordinator for the day. I have to say, that was money well spent. She took away all the stress and we were able to enjoy our wedding day without worrying about timing, schedules and all other details. She and the team at Madeline's Wedding have become friends and I'm very pleased that they where a big part of our special day. We could have never done it without them.

Their staff was always accessible and helpful, they really listened to what we wanted out of our experience. We are extremely happy with the value we received from working with Madeline’s from planning and scheduling right through to their gorgeous decorating and dealing with all the last minute stumbling blocks that allowed us to enjoy our day knowing we were in good hands. We had such an amazing time! I am so happy with everything about my wedding! My coordinators were so great the whole day with absolutely everything! I LOVED everything about my wedding! I love my photographer! Julie's flowers were amazing! The DJ did everything I asked which was keep the room dancing! All the vendors you recommended were perfect!
The reception room was absolutely stunning. The complements that I've received are unreal! People say that it’s the most beautiful wedding that they have ever been to! I have had at least 20 to 25 people that have said that. I couldn't have wished for my wedding day to be anymore amazing! Seriously amazing!

A big thank you to Alison and Madeline’s Weddings for your involvement in planning our big day! Your recommendations for our vendors were absolutely perfect! Your vendor suggestions and the way you worked with them really took the pressure off of us and in the end I am sure you spoke to the florist way more than we did and the result was having flowers more spectacular than we had ever pictured! Alison, you really took the time to get to know the two of us over countless meetings. The best one of all, our “planning meeting” at Applebees which was more of a dinner with a special friend to discuss the wedding. We relied on you to be so familiar with all the details and you never let us down. When I had driven friends and family crazy with wedding talk, Alison was still as excited as I was to hear about my latest new detail, which usually involved something geeky like being insanely excited about stationery or our calculator favours (we’re very cheesy accountants). I’ll never forget seeing the reception room at the Hilton and thinking, “is this really our wedding?” and we have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests as well. The only downside to all of this was saying goodbye at the reception knowing that we wouldn’t be talking nearly as often.
Thank you so much Alison, for being with us every step of the way. Our wedding day would never have turned out so perfectly if it weren’t for your ideas, décor, patience and of course, candy shopping abilities!

I could not believe my eyes when I walked into the most beautiful room, peered down to see my husband to be, surrounded by beauty. It was like a dream! The head table was even more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I had chosen 6 colors for our wedding. You and your successful staff members were able to incorporate every color and make it look elegant, not overwhelming.
We had a wedding consultant who was more than what you would expect. There were small issues here and there that were dealt with right away. I had no idea of anything as they were taken care of without me even being a part of it. Now that is a wedding coordinator!
Because of you, Madeline and your staff, we were able to book everything just the way we wanted it. There were no hiccups. You sent us to the best venders for absolutely everything.
I know that preparing for a wedding is stressful, but you really made it a breeze for us.

We were married July 18, 2009 at the Fort Gary Hotel. The venue we chose is spectacular in itself, and when you and your team came to decorate it it became unreal! Words literally cannot describe how the room looked.
As a bride, I've always had a vision of what I'd like the reception to look like, and the reality became something much more than I could have ever imagined!! The colours were dead on, table settings were immaculate...every detail of every decoration was perfect, there is not one thing we could see out of place in a room set for over 200 people! The head table blew our minds! It was truly the focus of the room!
Another detail that we had, but didn't discuss with you, was a dedication table (for my Father and a family member). This table was decorated perfectly and really made it special for us. We did not ask for this, but that is the level of quality your company is capable of and we really appreciate it.
