We have been waiting to post this FABULOUS wedding and now the time has come! YAY! 🙂
We met Saniya & Mike about 18 months prior to their wedding and what an incredible journey it was. Both dentists, these two had little time to plan. Not to mention they were having 2 weddings, that’s right 2 WEDDINGS! They needed some help to pull this off and they came to the best to do just that!
We worked on everything with Saniya and Mike closely! We assisted with vendor referrals for them, did much researching, vendor appointments, choosing their menu, theme and colour scheme development, timelines, last minute details and much much more.
* A little vendor story here… when a local bridal salon changed owners last year, they told Saniya they couldn’t help her with things such as fittings, alterations etc. When she got her wedding dress home, she found the dress wasn’t even finished in some areas! The MW’s team tried to reason with the new owners, but they wanted nothing to do Saniya’s gown as they didn’t sell it to her. So of course we made some calls, called in some favours and some of the more reputable salons in the city were willing and able to help us out – even during grad season! Thank you Melina & Tammy! 🙂 When we realized how much work needed to be done, MW’s called in yet another favour… this time to a family friend, Laura who’s been making wedding dresses for decades. And although she spends most her quality time with her grandkids these days, she of course was able to help me and my gal Saniya out! I don’t know if I have ever been thanked as much as I was by Saniya for this. You are so welcome Saniya! 🙂
So the weekend finally came for Saniya & Mike’s FABULOUS wedding celebration! And AMAZING it was in every single way! We had people from all over the world come to our great city to join in the celebration with our wonderful couple. The first night began with an informal dinner party with family & friends at the Caboto Center! A celebration before the weddings!

And onto the first wedding! The weddings both took place at The Fort Garry Hotel, the staff, the food and service were all top notch!

Once again, congratulations to our VERY happy couple! We enjoyed our weekly talks, the meetings and all the emailing too! You two were just great to work with and we all sincerely miss you at MW’s!
